Is one Christian enough to lift someone's head to keep them from drowning?  Not the literal sense of drowning in water........but drowning in the world.  When the world is pulling at a Believer and that Believer's faith is weak, is one Christian enough to keep their head up?  Can that one Christian literally pour enough Jesus into that struggling Believer to keep them following Jesus?  Can that one Christian pray enough for that struggling Believer to keep them from slipping back into the sins of the world?  Can that one Christian be there every time that struggling Believer needs Jesus with skin on to be a touch of Jesus to them?  Can that one Christian listen and reflect Jesus enough back to that struggling Believer so that that struggling Believer doesn't feel alone?  What does God's word say in answer to that question?

I Corinthians 12:12-26 talks about the Body of Christ.  "The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body.  So it is with Christ.  For we are all baptized by one Spirit into one body.....As it is there are many parts but one body.....there should be no division in the body but that its parts should have equal concern for each other.  If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored every part rejoices with it."

From that scripture I believe the answer to the question is "No".  One Christian is not enough.  God has made us into a body for a reason; to support each other, to encourage each other, to listen to each other, to be Jesus with skin on to each other, to reflect Jesus back to each other.

Has God called you to be Jesus with skin on to someone but you think, "Let someone else do it, I don't have time or I don't know what to say."  Well, someone else may be doing it, but just one someone else is not enough.  When that one someone else is keeping another Christian's head up alone, that Christian can become a struggling Christian themself.   That one Christian pouring Jesus into the struggling Christian and the struggling Christian need to see that they are not alone; that there are other Christians who care and who want to be Jesus to them both.  We all need each other.  God says we're not in this Christian walk alone.   I Thessalonians 4:11 says, "Therefore, encourage one another and build each other up...".  and in Galatians 6:2 He says "Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."

I challenge you, listen to God.  Is He calling you to be Jesus with skin on to someone?  Are you obeying or are you thinking someone else will do it?  When you take time to listen, He will talk to you.   The more you listen and obey, the more you will hear Him and the more you will be Jesus with skin on to someone.   Then you will be blessed and you will be a blessing to others.  I encourage you, Go, and be a blessing to a fellow Christian today!  To God Be The Glory!
